The KZN Philharmonic Orchestra's Spring Symphony Season continues with an evening concert in Durban.
Make a short break of it: a concert in town, then a quiet weekend by the sea in Amanzimtoti.
Planning your stay
- Getting there: Durban's main venues (the ICC, Kings Park, Moses Mabhida and the city centre) are 28 to 31 km from Cabana Mio, roughly half an hour by road on the N2 without traffic.
- Suggested dates: arrive Wednesday, 11 November and leave Friday, 13 November, so the event day is free of travel.
- Weather in November: days average 25°C and nights 19°C, with about 11 rainy days in the month. The sea is around 23°C.
- Daylight: the sun rises about 4:53 and sets about 18:30 in mid-November.
- Tickets: buy them from the organiser or its official ticket outlet; Cabana Mio does not sell event tickets.
- Room for everyone: each chalet sleeps six in three bedrooms, with a kitchen and a private braai. Groups book chalets side by side.
