The stay

Each chalet is a 128 m² two-storey home: living, dining and kitchen downstairs, three bedrooms and a balcony upstairs. Built for families, golf fours and friends who want room to spread out.
Cabana Mio is seven garden duplexes at 159 Beach Road, Athlone Park, Amanzimtoti, 4126, less than 100 metres from the beach. Each one sleeps six in three bedrooms, with a full kitchen, an air-conditioned lounge with DStv and Wi-Fi, and a private braai patio. Collect the keys at the office. Wood and charcoal for the braai are not supplied. The rate is per chalet for up to six people, not per person: Blue season is R1,400–R1,500 a night (the higher figure is mid-June to early October), then White R1,800, Red R2,000 and Festive R2,500. Check-in is from 12:00 and check-out is by 10:00. Call Cally on 082 496 2879.
