The course
Set in the green Umdoni valley near Pennington, Selborne's 18 holes were designed by Denis Barker, and water is a feature on most of them. The club says the challenge starts on the first tee and suits golfers of every ability.
Selborne calls itself South Africa's first housing golf estate. As well as the course there is a pro shop, cart hire, a restaurant and accommodation on the estate.
